Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Welcome to
Amaze Psychotherapy!
“Life is a maze—
Here, you are amazing.”
Amaze Psychotherapy was founded in 2022 by Adnan N. Munshi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Humanist, currently providing Telehealth Based Online Therapy & Counseling in the States of New York and New Jersey.
As a first-generation South Asian-Muslim immigrant, Adnan migrated from Bombay, India to the United States at the age of 5. Observing the influences of a traditional home environment mixed with a modern multi diverse society, Adnan began understanding the challenges of cultural integration while learning about the melting pot of lifestyles in America. He became eager and inspired to serve the community through helping his peers as an elected “natural helper.” This is when he started to develop a fascination into how the mind works and a curiosity about how people think, live, and experience the world.
Adnan followed his dreams of helping people with obtaining his Bachelors in Psychology at Rutgers University, New Brunswick and Masters of Social Work at Monmouth University. Through his career pathway, he has developed over 11 years of ongoing clinical experiences in individual and group therapy settings. Both personally and professionally, Adnan knows the quest comprised of pain, struggle, and healing. Adnan continues to be driven, committed, and consistent in establishing and upholding integrity with high quality, just, equal, non judgmental, and all inclusive treatment. His mission remains to support people in reducing suffering, achieving fulfillment, and becoming their best versions.
Nowadays outside of his therapy practice, Adnan translates his passionate and ambitious energy to growing in the worlds of martial arts (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, Kickboxing, Krav Maga), weight lifting and bodybuilding, culinary arts, poetry, nature, travel, GoPro videography and photography. Adnan is aware that in order to maximize and be of the best service to his patients, he must lead by example, role modeling through regular self care and inner development.
